KARACHI, Aug 9: Six ships carrying containers and steel coils are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, Kaptain Byankin, Y.M. Star and Hyundai Stride to unload and load containers, Carla and Bulk Arrow to load cement were berthed after the departure of four.

The ships, which departed were led by Namrun, Red Sea Spirit, Hyundai Stride and APL Amman, while Y.M Star and Wan Hai 301 are due to sail out on Friday.

A total tonnage of 88,422 tons comprising 44,506 tons of export tonnage and 43,916 tons of import cargo was handled on Thursday.

The following ships are due on Friday: Dimitris, Mol Asamte, Western Star, Kota Gangeng, Oel Shreyas with containers and Iran Yamin with steel coils.
