46 more deportees arrive from Turkey

RAWALPINDI, Aug 5: A batch of 46 illegal immigrants, deported by Turkish authorities, arrived at the Islamabad International Airport on Sunday. According to immigration authorities, the deportees arrived from Turkey on a scheduled flight and were taken into custody by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for interrogation.

Out of the 46 deportees, 20 were from Gujrat, 6 Gujranwala, 9 Sialkot, 5 Mandi Bahawdin, 2 Hafizabad, one each from Mirpur, Bahawalpur, Gilgit and Azad Kashmir.

The immigration officials said that cases will be registered against the deportees and they would be sent to their relevant districts where FIA authorities would interrogate them.
