Dravid, Gambhir in runs for India

LEICESTER (England), Aug 5: India skipper Rahul Dravid and opener Gautam Gambhir both made half-centuries against Sri Lanka ‘A’ here on Saturday. Gambhir hit 67 before retiring, while Dravid also scored an unbeaten 67 as India reached 238-5 in reply to Sri Lanka ‘A’s 266 all out.

At stumps, the Sri Lankans were 112-1 in their second innings, a lead of 140 with Michael Vandort 61 not out and Dilruwan Perera unbeaten on 48.

India will face England in the third and final Test starting at The Oval on Thursday.
