LAHORE, Aug 4: After an overnight stay in the provincial capital, the Malaysian independence car rally crossed the Wagah Border on way to India on Saturday. The rally has been organised by the Malaysian government as part of celebrations of their 50th anniversary of independence.

It began from London on July 8 and passed through France, Italy, Turkey and Iran before reaching Pakistan on July 30.

In Pakistan, it travelled through Quetta, Sukkur, Multan and Lahore.

After India, the rally will travel through Nepal, China, Laos, and Thailand before concluding in the Malaysian capital (Kuala Lumpur) on Aug 31.—APP
