KARACHI, Aug 4: The Sindh Workers Welfare Board spent Rs75 million on various labour welfare schemes in the province during the last two months.
This was stated in the board’s current fiscal year report, which was presented to Sindh Labour Minster Muhammad Adil Siddiqui on Saturday.
According to the report, Rs28.4 million were spent on scholarships to children of labourers, Rs6.4 million on dowry grant, Rs20.25 million for the heirs of deceased labourers.—PPI
