LARKANA, Aug 3: The civil judge and judicial magistrate-II, Qambar Gurmukhdas, on the directives of district and sessions judge raided the Qambar police station on Friday and recovered four persons kept in lock-up in illegal confinement.

Those kept in the illegal confinement were identified as: Riaz Khoso, Asghar Khoso, Barkat Chandio and Shadi Khan Chandio.

The incharge police station failed to produce any document validating the arrests. The judge ordered the release of the men.

The judge asked the SHO of the police station, Aijaz Massan, and writing head constable (head mohrar), Zulfikar Soomro, to appear before the sessions judge on Saturday along with papers, if they had any, showing the arrest of the four.
