KARACHI, Aug 3: Four ships carrying containers, sulphur and chemicals were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Friday. Meanwhile, two more ships with containers and rapeseeds also arrived at the outer anchorage. Berth occupancy fell to 40 per cent as only five ships, Pacheco, Inori, Addiriyah, Saudi Tabuk, Asha Himani and Oriental Miho, were busy in loading and unloading containers, sulphur and chemicals.

A cargo volume of 26,447 tons comprising 13,323 tons of import cargo and 13,124 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailing was active as Inori, Saudi Tabuk, Addiriyah and Sea Lion left the port while Oriental Miho was due to depart.
