HYDERABAD: Protest against recruitment on political basis

HYDERABAD, Aug 2: The activists of the All Pakistan Clerks Association, population welfare department unit, staged a protest demonstration and hunger strike camp outside the press club here on Thursday against the alleged recruitments in Sindh government departments on political basis.

Speaking on the occasion, Dost Ali Sheikh, Ashiq Ali Bhangar, Imtiaz Hashmani and others criticised the political appointments.They said that if the appointments have to be made to appease the coalition partners of the government than people should not be deceived by paying lip service to the ‘merit’.

They threatened to take legal action and expand the scope of their protest if the appointments were not stopped.

Auqaf employees protest


The Sindh Auqaf Employees Association members staged a protest demonstration outside the press club here on Thursday against the alleged illegal appointments in the Sindh Auqaf department.

Speaking on the occasion, Imtiaz Ali Lashari, Abdul Rehman Daudani, Zafarullah Sheikh and others said that due to the direct appointments the fundamental rights of employees were being violated. They demanded that all the employees working on deputation in the Auqaf department should be sent back to their parent departments.
