ISLAMABAD, Aug 1: Fifty-eight high school students have been selected from all over the Pakistan to spend one academic year at schools in the United States. T J Grubisha, Cultural Affairs Officer US Embassy at a farewell to the students on Wednesday said the “little ambassadors” would make big difference by bridging inter- cultural gaps.

The students are being sent under Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Programme, funded by the US Department of State Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs.

The US official said the programme would provide high school students in many countries an opportunity to study at the US high schools and live with American host families during their one-year stay.—APP
