Hick to play another season

Published August 1, 2007

LONDON, July 31: Former England batsman Graeme Hick has signed a new one-year contract with Worcestershire. Zimbabwe-born Hick, 41, became only the 16th player in the history of the game to score 40,000 first-class runs earlier this season and insists his appetite for success is as strong as ever.

“I am really enjoying my cricket this year and still feel as fit as ever,” Hick, who made 65 Test appearances, said. —AFP
