ISLAMABAD, July 30: A top official of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees is due in Islamabad on Tuesday for holding talks with Pakistani officials regarding the repatriation of Afghan refugees to their homeland.
Ms Cheng-Hopkins, the assistant high commissioner for operations of the UNHCR, is in Afghanistan for a three-day tour, and is scheduled to start her five-day visit to Pakistan from Tuesday.
During her stay in Islamabad, the UN official will sign the extension of the Tripartite Agreement for Voluntary Repatriation of Afghan refugees.
