SWM starts waste collection

MULTAN, July 30: The Solid Waste Management (SWM) wing of the Multan city district government started collecting waste from every house on Monday. Ten camps have also been established at different points in the city to raise awareness among the public regarding sanitation.

Malik Abdul Shakoor Bhutta, SWM district officer, stated this in a press release.

He said people were also cooperating with the SWM in keeping the city clean and giving waste to the sanitary staff.

He said that pamphlets were being distributed and banners hoisted at different points highlighting the importance of cleanliness.
