HYDERABAD: Three of a family die in accident

HYDERABAD, July 30: Three members of a family were killed while 10 others injured in a road accident near Hala on National Highway, on Monday.

The deceased were identified as Mohammad Rafiq, his wife Rozina and daughter Munni, 6.

The injured included Farzana, Irfan, Abdul Hameed, Ms Pathani, Shadi, Raju, Naseer and Allah Bachayo.

The accident happened when their van overturned while overtaking a truck.

The motorway police shifted the victims to Hala taluka hospital.

Senior lawyer passes away


A senior civil lawyer, Abdul Sattar Sheikh, died on Monday after protracted illness. He was 84.

He left behind a widow and two sons.

He was laid to rest in Cantonment graveyard.

Mr. Justice Rehmat Hussain Jafferi, senior lawyers, relatives and friends attended the funeral.
