Port Qasim

KARACHI, July 30: Three ships carrying containers and chemicals were accommodated berths at QICT and MPT during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Monday. Meanwhile, three more container ships also arrived at the outer anchorage. Berth occupancy remained below normal as only four ships, Pacheco, Socotra, Yanaseni and Hamburg Harmony, were busy in loading and unloading containers, chemicals and iron ore.

A cargo volume of 44,783 tons comprising 35,229 tons of import and 9,554 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailing was active as Venus-7 and Pacheco left the port.
