KARACHI, July 30: Four vessels carrying containers and to load cement are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where over a dozen ships including Gallant Wave, Kota Helus, Nord Woge, Oel Shreyas, Leed Castle, Nord Wave, Split, Abu Kalam Azad and Lucky Arrow were berthed during the last two days.

Sailing was also active as 11 ships notably Eny, Ji Bao Men, Aamia, Pretty Lady, BBC Venezuela, Yui Mei, Tarpong Santiago, Adriatic Arrow, Oel Shreyas and Conti Esperance departed, while Nord Woge, Bux Master, Multan, Gallant Wave, Mol Ability and Gagar Mayang are due to sail out on Tuesday.

Owing to larger handling of the liquid tonnage, the total rose to 0.258m tons comprising 47,467 tons of export cargo including 13,445 tons of cement and 0.211m tons of import cargo.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Lalazar with crude oil, Harmony and APL Brilliance with containers and Garla to load cement.
