Younis slams second double ton


LONDON, July 29: Pakistan Test batsman Younis Khan hit his second unbeaten double century of the English county season on Saturday as title-chasing Yorkshire drew against Kent in a rain-hit match at Scarborough.

Younis smashed 217 not out as Yorkshire reached 550 for nine declared which secured them a first innings lead of 64.

Younis made his runs off 252 balls with 18 fours and six sixes.

His first double century — 202 not out — came early in May against Hampshire at the Rose Bowl.
