Don Bosco triumph

LAHORE, July 28: Don Bosco School ‘A’ (English Medium) entered the final of the Lahore district Inter-club basketball championship defeating Henry Francis Club 41-36 in the second semi-final on Saturday.

The winners play Defense Club in the final on Sunday.

Don Bosco, School surged 22-19 at half time and despite facing a close fight from Henry Francis Club, maintained the lead in the second half to eventually emerge victors.

For the winners Naveed and Waqas played a leading role by contributing 12 and 10 points. Arsalan and Asad chipped in with six points, each.

But for the losers, Sheraz (12) and Imran (11) fought well to give a tough time to the winners till the last. Ali (7) and Ibrar (6) were the other key scorers.
