KARACHI, July 28: Pakistan snooker team will feature in the second Indoor Asian Games being held in Macau from Oct 27 to Nov 2, Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) announced on Saturday.

Naveen Perwani, Abu Saim and Khurram Agha will be representing Pakistan in the games, PBSA President Asghar Valika said. He added that they have submitted the names of the players to Pakistan Olympic Association while Alamgir Shaikh will be the manager of the team.

Five disciplines including as athletics, chess, billiards, kabaddi and snooker will be contested in the games.

Regarding Pakistan team's participation in the inaugural Asian Snooker Team Championship to be held in China, he said they are awaiting details from Asian Confederation of Billiards after which a decision will be taken.

Asghar expressed his delight over the emergence of a new champ in Shehram Changezi who won the Snooker Cup National Ranking Championship in Islamabad on Friday.—APP
