SHIKARPUR: Recovery of missing boys demanded

SHIKARPUR, July 28: Activists of Spark, political leaders, social welfare organisations and parents staged a demonstration against missing of the two boys Riaz Ali Bhatti and Aijaz Ahmed Bhatti at Lakhi Gate Tower Chowk here, on Saturday.

The protest was led by Mohammad Paryal Mari, Nadir Baloch, Agha Qamar Mushwani, leader of Sindh United Party Amanullah Soomro and others.

Speakers said the police had failed to control criminal activities in the district.

They demanded early recovery of the missing boys and also appealed the Supreme Court of Pakistan to take suo-motu notice of the incident.

KILLED: One person was killed in an armed clash between two groups of Unnar tribe in Wadhiki Unnar village in the jurisdiction of Garhi Yasin police, on Friday. The deceased was identified as Badaruddin Unnar.

Motive behind the clash was said to be a dispute between two groups of Unnars. Garhi Yasin Police had registered a case.
