KARACHI, July 28: Three ships scheduled to load and offload containers and edible oil were accommodated berths at QICT and MPT during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Saturday.

Meanwhile, two more ships carrying Chemicals and iron ore also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Four ships, Maersk Novazzano, Jebel Ali, Frontier Express and Venus-7, were busy in loading and unloading containers, diesel oil and edible oil.

A cargo volume of 45,151 tons comprising 28,525 tons of import and 16,626 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Frontier Express and Jebel Ali left the port while Maersk Novazzano was due to depart.
