DC whites enter final

LAHORE, July 27: Defence Club Whites entered the final of the Lahore district basketball championship, defeating Don Bosco ‘A’ (Urdu) 68-56 in the first semi-final on Friday.

The winners led the first-half 40-26.

For the winners, main scorers were Khalid (19), Abdul Rehman (17) and Rehman (16). For the losers Shaan (13), Yasir (11) fought well.

Henry Francis Club also entered the pre-final beating Eagles Club in the last league match 46-18 after taking 24-8 lead at the half-time.

Imran (13) could only touch double figures. For the losers Abdullah and Hashim played well.

Henry Francis play Don Bosco ‘A’ English Medium in the second semi-final on Saturday.
