HYDERABAD, July 27: A person who was severely injured in an oxygen plant factory blast in Site area died in Civil Hospital here on Friday. The manager of the Maan Enterprises, Kamran Mirz, where the explosion occurred on Wednesday night, had received 96 per cent burn injuries.

Kamran, a resident of unit-7 Latifabad, was admitted to the intensive care unit after suffering fracture in his arm and injuries in his head.

He was kept on artificial ventilation and succumbed to his injuries on Friday.

He was laid to rest in the cantonment graveyard. Kamran married two years ago and his wife was expecting a child.

Four persons were killed and six others injured when several oxygen cylinders exploded while being loaded in a Dadu bound vehicle.

The cylinders that were filled with medical oxygen were being supplied to a government hospital by the plant owner, Azfar Najam.

BODY FOUND: A 50-year-old man was found dead under mysterious circumstances in American quarters within the jurisdiction of Hali road police station on Friday.

Police said the man had received injuries in his head and abdomen.

He was taken by some people of the area to the hospital where he died. But another version says that he was found dead in the ground of American quarters.

The man, reportedly, hailed from Warah, district Larkana, and was residing here in a rented quarter.
