Arid varsity registrar dies

ISLAMABAD, July 27: Aslam Farooq Butt, registrar of the University of Arid Agriculture Rawalpindi (UAAR), died here on Friday. He was 70. He is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter. His funeral procession will be taken out from his residence at sector F-11, Islamabad on Saturday.

During his 40-year-long career, Aslam Farooq Butt also served in the Quaid-i-Azam University and Foundation University as a registrar.—APP
