NAWABSHAH, July 26: An old man has demanded of the chief justices of Supreme Court and the Sindh High Court to take notice of his missing daughter and granddaughter and direct the police authorities to recover them.

At a press conference at local press club here on Thursday, Pir Sikandar Ali, resident of Pir Shura village, Sakrand taluka, said that his daughter Fozia was married to Pir Zia five years back.

He said that about one and half month back, Fozia along with her daughter Kanwal went to the house of her brother-in-law, Pir Zainuddin, at doctors colony Nawabshah and told her that she would go to Karachi with them.

Literally crying, Sikandar Ali said that soon after two days, the mobile phone of her daughter was switched off and she went missing.

He said that her in-laws kept on misguiding him about the whereabouts and later started threatening him of dire consequences.

He apprehended that his daughter and granddaughter might have been killed as he refused to give the hand of his other daughter to the same family.

He further said that he went to all the notable and influential people of the area but no one was ready to help him.

He said that he was worried about his daughter and grand daughter and his wife was also in miserable condition.

He said that he went to Sakrand police station but they refused to lodge his FIR as he was poor. He said that the accused were influential and rich and also registered a case against him which proved fake during investigations.

He said that he had no enmity with anyone but the in-laws of his daughter kept torturing his daughter as he refused to give his other daughter to them. He demanded of Chief Justices of Supreme Court and the Sindh High Court and other higher authorities to provide him justice and direct the police to recover his daughter and granddaughter.
