DAMASCUS: A massive blast on Thursday at an ammunitions depot in the northern Syrian city of Aleppo killed 15 soldiers and wounded 50, the official SANA news agency said.
An official told AFP that the explosion took place at 4:30am. “An ammunition dump exploded in a barracks at Messelmie, about 10kms from Aleppo.
There are deaths and casualties among soldiers,” the official said. “We extinguished the fire.”—AFP
