Two electrocuted

SHEIKHUPURA, July 25: Two persons were electrocuted while three others suffered burns in Mandi Faizabad on Wednesday. Farman Ali, Pannu, Yasin, Shahid and Asghar were travelling atop a tractor-trolley when they touched an overhead livewire. Farman and Pannu died instantly, while Yasin, Shahid and Asghar suffered burns and were taken to hospital in serious condition.

SHOT DEAD: Two men were shot dead allegedly by rivals at Joyanwala village in the limits of Saddar police.

Basharat and his father, Arif, were present at their outhouse when their rival, Akram, along with accomplices, opened fire on them killing them on the spot.

Saddar police are investigating.

At Ajnianwala village, Farooqabad, Rana Afzal was murdered over a marriage dispute.
