KARACHI, July 25: The Karachi Shehri Ittehad (KSI) has called for the establishment of an independent election commission comprising judges of the Supreme Court and high courts to ensure the holding of free, fair and transparent elections in the country.
In a statement, KSI members observed that the rulers had always been showing disregard to the established democratic values by refusing the public mandate and jeopardizing the country’s integrity.
