Loom workers’ protest
KASUR, July 24: Hundreds of powerloom workers continued their protest for the fourth consecutive day on Tuesday for a raise in salary. Over 100 loom workers staged a rally from Bhasarpura to a labour office on Raiwind Road. They raised slogans against the government and loom owners, and demanded that their salaries be increased and debt written off. — Correspondent
