Three killed, nine hurt by rivals

FAISALABAD, July 24: Three people were killed and nine others injured allegedly by rivals outside the Razaabad police post here late on Monday night. Reports said Rana Hamid along with his men was returning from the Razaabad police post when some men of the rival Anwar group opened fire on them. Faiz alias Kada died on the spot while Babar Ali and Umer succumbed to their injuries in hospital.

Mohsin, Najeeb, Azizur Rahman, Mohammad Najeeb, Aalamgir, Safdar, Rehan, Manzoor and Sadfar sustained injuries and were taken to hospital.

Police have registered a case and are investigating.
