KARACHI, July 23: Three-year-old bay filly Friendly Fire seems to be the form horse to land The Top Most Cup 2007 when the Gymkhana race meeting takes place at the Karachi Racecourse on Tuesday.

She had won three races on trot, all under champion rider Nasir, and looks certain to stretch her winning streak. She won all her races in convincing fashion by 10, 14 and 9 lengths which speak of her form and fitness. However, she will be seen in action after a two-month layoff.

Her main challenger in a field of 13 runners would be filly Fantastic Baby and bay horse Jack In The Box.

King Of Mehran looks fancied to outpace opponent’s to lift The Jockey’s Cup 2007.

He settled for second place losing to The Ghazan Prince by half length earlier this month.

He should be followed by Rebecca and Mr. Paidagir for the places on board.

A card of nine races including two cups has been drawn for the day. The first race gets into action at 1.00pm.

The days feature event should end in a blaze of glory for three-year-old bay colt Fair Diamond. He is recipient of The Sprinter Cup held in April.

He is drawn in a shortest field of five contestants barring last minute withdrawls. He is likely to be chased by Makina and King Of Sanghar.

Four-year-old bay filly Rolex looks poised to rule the sixth race to make it three-in-a-row.

If tried by the connections, mare Mrs. Jack and colt Captain Cook should claim the last two races.

Mare Smiling Face and filly Phapha Kutni should make amends while filly Kat Mandu is our fancy to make it three on trot in the remaining races.
