KARACHI, July 23: A policeman on Monday committed suicide over a dispute with his wife. A resident of Steel Town, Constable Ghulam Rasool had a quarrel with his wife some four months back. Taking the children, she went to her parents’ place. He tried in vain to persuade her to return home.
Depressed, he committed suicide by consuming some poisonous stuff on Monday. Police shifted his body to the JPMC for a post-mortem examination. They said he made a will that his body should not be handed over to his wife and children. They added that they did not suspect any foul play.
