KOHAT, July 22: Police on Sunday foiled an attempt to smuggle a huge quantity of hashish from the tribal areas to Punjab. The driver of the truck carrying the substance was also arrested.
A police party intercepted the truck at a checkpoint and upon search, recovered 40kg of hashish from a secret cavity inside the diesel tank. Police impounded the vehicle and arrested driver Abdullah, resident of Garhi Risladar, Kohat.
