Rs2.4m robbery at cell phone shop

SIALKOT, July 21: Three dacoits looted a mobile phone shop here on Saturday evening in Model Town, Daska. Reports said the robbers entered the shop of Muhammad Arshad Sindhu and made off with calling cards, cash and a large number of used and new mobile sets worth Rs2.4 million at gunpoint.

Daska City police have registered a case with no arrest or recovery.

RAID: A police contingent raided a brothel on Tariq Road in Model Town, Sialkot City on Saturday and arrested four men and three women. However, three more accused managed their escape firing on the police.

A case has been registered.

Reports said the action was taken following rising complaints of obscenity by social and religious circles.
