KARACHI, July 21: Three ships to load/offload containers and furnace oil were allotted berths at the QICT and FOTCO Terminal during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Saturday.

A total of six ships, Maersk Novazzano, CMA CGM Tulip, Asco, New Toyokaze, Grigoroussa-1 and Shamroc Venus, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, edible oil, furnace oil and chemicals.

A cargo volume of 89,642 tons comprising 66,290 tons of import and 23,352 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailing was active as Shamroc Venus and Asco left the port.
