DCO on flood fighting measures

SARGODHA, July 20: District Coordination Officer Hamid Amjad Warraich has said the district administration has dispatched two truckloads of food articles to the flood-hit areas.

Appropriate arrangements were in place to cope with flood in the district and a control room had been set up, he said.

DPO Sheikh Muhammad Umar told this correspondent that the watch and ward system had been enhanced and the police deployed to guard at important places.
