HYDERABAD, July 20: District Nazim Kanwar Naveed Jamil on Friday issued show-cause notices to the managing directors of Water and Sanitation Agency, XEN of city and XEN of filter plant over growing complaints about the shortage of drinking water in some localities of the city.

He warned that the district government would take strict action if people’s grievances were not redressed.
