Man, son wanted for murder arrested
TAXILA, July 19: The local police have arrested two persons wanted in a murder case and obtained their physical remand from the court of law, sources said on Thursday. On a tip-off, the Taxila Cantonment police carried out a raid and detained Sakhawat and his son, Khani Zaman, who had killed one of their relatives - Chanan Begum (65) - in Khurram Paracha village over a property dispute.
The accused had been at large for the last couple of months.
According to the police, the weapon used in the murder has also been recovered from the two persons during interrogation.—Correspondent
