KARACHI: The KSE 100-share index on Wednesday crashed by 394 points, or 2.8 per cent, from its recently attained all-time high level of 14,200 points on panic-selling what analysts called a belated reaction to the Lal Masjid operation.
It could fall further as a series of attacks on the security forces may herald the exit of foreign investors from the local bourse, they said.
