QUETTA, July 17: At least 15 more bodies of missing people were recovered in the cyclone and flood-hit coastal areas of Balochistan on Tuesday. Sources said those found dead might be fishermen as many fishing vessels had drowned in the sea when the Yemyin cyclone had hit the Balochistan coast.

“Thirteen fishermen were reported missing in the Gadani area.”

Briefing newsmen Provincial Home Secretary Tariq Ayub said 6,000 tents would be reaching Quetta from Lahore on Wednesday.

He said that the government had distributed 12,000 tents among the homeless families.

He said that in the next few weeks Balochistan would receive 60,000 tents as it demanded from Islamabad. Replying to a question, he said that the government would facilitate the people in reconstruction of their houses.
