Shabo Star oust Ghori CC

KARACHI, July 17: Mohammad Taqi produced a fine all-round show as Shabo Star Cricket Club (Quetta) overcame Ghori Cricket Club (Hyderabad) by four wickets in a National Club cricket tournament match at the Landhi Gymkhana Ground on Monday.

Taqi captured four wickets for 31 in ten overs as Ghori CC were dismissed for 201 in 46 overs. Asfand Jafri got 35 while Mohammad Awais made 34.

Shabo Star CC reached the required target in the 36th over for the loss of six wickets.

Haseenullah smashed a brilliant unbeaten 63 as Mohammad Taqi cracked an 18-ball 43. Aurangzeb got 36. Shahid Ansari picked 3-66.

Ghori CC Hyderabad, after their fourth defeat in a row, were eliminated from the competition.
