Lancashire target Laxman

MANCHESTER (England), July 17: English county championship side Lancashire have set their sights on Indian Test batsman V.V.S. Laxman to replace Australia's Brad Hodge for their last four games of the season.

The club said on Monday that they have written to the Indian cricket board asking if the 32-year-old is available to replace Hodge, who will be on duty with Australia.—AFP
