KARACHI, July 17: Eight ships carrying containers, crude oil and wheat are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where three ships, Iran Shahryar, Nordana Andrea to unload and load containers, Wadi Al-Rayan, to load cement were berthed.

Only one ship, Ever Govern departed on Tuesday, while Iran Shahryar, Wadi Al-Rayan, and Corin Thaikos are due to sail out on Wednesday.

A total volume of 81,140 tons comprising 22,035 tons of export cargo and 59.105 tons of import tonnage was handled on Tuesday.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Lalazar, with crude oil, Hansa Stavanger, Harmony, Sinar Bandung, Al-Mirqab, Iran Sattari, and Hyundai Highway, with containers, Fatima, with rock phosphate, and Liberty Glory, to offload wheat.
