KARACHI: Hospital upgraded

KARACHI, July 16: The Government Hospital Ibrahim Hyderi has been upgraded to a 200-bed health facility. A ceremony in this connection was held here on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, MPA Mehmood Alam Jamote said that it was the prime objective of the present government to provide education and health care facilities to the people living in rural areas on a par with the urban areas. He said that the infrastructure in these areas would be developed at a cost of Rs150 million.

Mr Jamote informed the audience that a new hospital would also be established in Quaidabad.

Bin Qasim Town nazim, naib nazim, Dr Amna Zaffar and Dr Shafqat Hussain also spoke.—PPI
