KHAIRPUR: Inquiry against education official sought

By Our Correspondent

KHAIRPUR, July 14: Office-bearers of the Primary Teachers Association (PTA) Khairpur have asked the higher education authorities to order an inquiry against the Assistant District Officer, Elementary Education Male Khairpur.

In joint statement on Saturday, the PTA district leaders Asadullah Memon, Umardin Jalbani, Khair Mohammad Soomro and others accused the ADO of selling trees lying in the premises of his office, misusing official vehicles, misappropriation of funds meant for peons’ uniform, and reimbursement of fake vouchers of travelling allowance in the name of teachers.

The PTA threatened to launch protest movement if inquiry was not ordered against the ADO.

MAN DIES: A lineman of Hesco Ranipur sub-division died due to electrocution on Saturday. Abdul Fatah Solangi was working on Scarp tube-well near Razi village when he fell down due to an electric shock.
