Youth shot dead by rivals

OKARA, July 11: A youth was shot dead by his rivals over an old enmity here on Wednesday near village Bhatian, some 80km away from the city. Ijaz Husain alias Ali Sher of Bhatian was on way to a nearby village by his bike (SLA-3380).

He was accompanied by his three cousins Muhammad Yar, Alam Sher and Ghulam on another bike. Near the village, Yasin, Safdar, Mahamali Khan and Hasan shot Ijaz Husain dead.

Gogera police have registered a case.
