KARACHI: Enforcement of traffic laws

KARACHI, July 8: Sindh Transport Minister Adil Siddiqi has taken notice of increasing fatal traffic accidents in the city and directed DIG Traffic and other organisations and officials concerned to pursue an effective strategy for ensuring enforcement of speed limit and spreading awareness among people in this regard.

He directed DIG Traffic and the provincial transport department to conspicuously display instructions regarding speed limit on city’s important and busy roads for public awareness.

He emphasised that it was the responsibility of everyone to respect traffic laws while law enforcers, especially traffic police, should perform their duties with prudence.—APP
