BAHAWALPUR, July 7: A bachelor’s honors programme in fine arts will be introduced in the next academic session in the newly established fine arts department of Islamia University here.

According to department chairperson Qudsia Nisar, who joined the university a few months back, said the programme would be of four years’ duration.

During a briefing to vice-chancellor Prof Dr Bilal A Khan here on Saturday, she said new subjects like miniature, paintings, calligraphy, intaglio painting, collage work and others have been added to the course. The VC directed her to start short courses like drawing, pottery, landscaping and floral art.
