Minor killed on road

ATTOCK, July 7: A minor boy was killed and his mother seriously injured in a road accident at Hazro-Gondal road, while a farmer was stabbed and injured on Friday evening.

A woman resident of village Murarian was on a tonga along with her three-year-old son when a speeding damper hit the tonga at Hazro-Gondal road.

As a result, the boy died on the spot, while his mother sustained injuries, who was rushed to local hospital.

Meanwhile, a farmer, Daim Khan, told police that he was busy at his farm land when Haq Nawaz and his son Muhammad Ilyas attacked him with sharp knifes.

FAKE CURRENCY: Fatehjang police arrested a person with two Rs500 currency notes.

A local owner of Habib Karyana Store reported to the police that Shakar Abbass purchased some commodities and gave him Rs500 fake currency note. — Correspondent
