KARACHI, July 6: Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain has condemned Friday’s rocket attack on the aircraft of President Gen Pervez Musharraf. According to a press release, he said that the perpetrators did not deserve to be called Pakistanis. They had no faith in Islam or humanity and, therefore, every Pakistani should condemn them, he added.
He also appealed to the Lal Masjid administration to set free the women and children detained in the mosque-madresah compound.—Staff Correspondent
