QUETTA, July 6: Baloch Students Organisation chairman Mohinuddin Baloch has criticised what he termed dismantling of a relief camp jointly set up by the BSO and the BNP-M in Khuzdar to collect donations and relief goods for flood victims.

Addressing a press conference here on Friday, he also said that police had arrested former MNA Rauf Mengal and three BSO members, Mumtaz Baloch, Rashid Baloch and Babo Pir Mohammad.

He said the government had failed to provide relief to victims of the devastating flood in Balochistan.

Mr Baloch said the European Union and the Arab League wanted to send relief goods for the Baloch, but, he alleged, the government was not accepting their assistance.

He said that most districts of Balochistan had been inundated and the entire infrastructure had collapsed, but the rulers in Islamabad were doing nothing.

The BSO chairman said the Baloch did not expect the government to provide aid to them because it had killed thousands of Baloch, including Nawab Akbar Bugti, in military operations.

He said that activists of the BSO had set up relief camps in Quetta, Nushki, Hub and Khuzdar, but police dismantled the Khuzdar camp and took away the relief goods collected their.He claimed that six teams of doctors and medicine had been sent to affected districts and the BSO would continue to provide help to the victims.
